What Is Data Warehousing And Data Mining?

Data warehousing and Data mining is most important term used in real world industry. We discuss here a real time example of data warehousing and data mining for better understanding. Suppose SBI BANK work daily in their working hour, In that working hour the SBI bank do lakh's transaction in daily schedule. SBI bank starts on 1 july 1955 , from that time to till date guess how many transaction work in SBI  bank, That all transaction data saved in one place or many place, SBI bank divides their work in their sub branch, and all sub branches handle their co-branches data and transaction, Each sub branch store daily transaction history in that branch main computer or server, Suppose SBI divides in 80 sub branches in world then data saved in 80 computer/server, That data stored from starting data of that branch means some data from 1955, That all data is important for future use, So that all 80 branches data stored in one place that all over data called as DATA WAREHOUSE. In website creation session is more important, Most of ways Session is used in DYNAMIC WEBSITE.We know all in dynamic website used database for storing data. That all data accepted from user and then that all data save in database, So come to our question what is SESSION?

SESSION-

Session mainly a type of STATE MANAGEMENT, Session is used in any website, Most of time you fill the exam form or any MPSC/UPSC or any type of exam form, That time if you fill one page and you going to next page, In 1st page you feel your all personal information, But in that page not give a SUBMIT OR SAVE button , That page show NEXT button, That time you going to next page but that time 1st page all information not save in database, That all page information save in SESSION for some time, After you feel 2nd page information then in that page you show SUBMIT/SAVE button, If you click on that button then your 1st page information i.e. SESSION information and 2nd page information successfully save in database. From that all you notify, SESSION is used for storing information if data carries from 1 page to another page, If you going to 2nd page then 1st page storing data [SESSION DATA] also going to 2nd page and then save in database if you click on SUBMIT/SAVE.

Any website working with session then that website some data also store in session for some time, Session also used for login, If you open your Facebook account then you enter your ID and PASSWORD then in session copied your ID.And pass that ID to next home page and only show that particular ID record to you, From login page to main page session store your ID for open your particular record.

In most website like banking website session also used for WEBSITE TIMEOUT, You see most of time you search on 1 page and after some time give a popup message SESSION TIMED OUT-LOGIN AGAIN, Session also used for giving a website timeout time, Suppose, in any website assign session timeout is 5 min then user open one page and not interact with that page more than 5 min then that page automatically disconnect from server and show message SESSION TIMEOUT. Most of time session timeout is used in BANKING WEBSITE , Because on idle page hackers chance to hacking so best solution give a session timeout to that website. If user not use that page more that timeout time then auto disconnect from server. Session play a key role in website for security. Asp and Java programming languages are platform independent as compare c/cpp, We discuss in previous post what is the main difference between platform dependent and platform independent. In short-One language code type in one OS and execute their successful but that code also copy and paste on another OS, If that code execute on that OS, Then that code is called as PLATFORM INDEPENDENT CODE. And if not execute on that OS then that code is called as PLATFORM DEPENDENT CODE. Which thing separate ASP and JAVA from C and CPP we discuss now-

ASP AND JAVA IS PLATFORM INDEPENDENT-

Here we declare both programming languages are platform independent , Means both languages code can run on any OS if that write in one of them OS. yes, that's right ASP and JAVA code write in one OS and that code also execute in another OS. Firstly see which thing ASP make a platform dependent language.

ASP/C#j#/vb.net each dot net platform code run on Microsoft Visual Studio Platform , Each language in dot net family that run under COMMON LANGUAGE RUNTIME (CLR), CLR is the heart of dot net platform , Because each code run on dot net platform firstly going to CLR, CLR provide his services like memory management, security, exceptional handling etc. to that code, And after that each code going to compiler called JUST-IN-TIME (JIT) compiler. In dot net each code pass from CLR. For CLR also support CTS(COMMON TYPE SYSTEM) and CLS(COMMON LANGUAGE SPECIFICATION) for handling data type and rules and regulations of languages respectively. After any code pass from CLR and JIT that code convert in one special type of code that's called as IL(INTERMEDIATE LANGUAGE CODE) ,Also called that as MSIL-MICROSOFT INTERMEDIATE LANGUAGE CODE or CIL-COMMON INTERMEDIATE LANGUAGE CODE. If you write any program in C#  or .net, or j# or any other language relate with dot net CLR convert all that languages code finally in IL code, And that code makes ASP or any other language of dot net family as PLATFORM INDEPENDENT. That IL code run on any OS , If you write code on windows OS and that code u want to run on linux then definitely that code run on linux with help of IL code, And that reason ASP also called as MANAGED CODE LANGUAGE.

Next is JAVA- In dot net family create IL code with help of CLR as similar in java create BYTE CODE with the help of JVM(JAVA VIRTUAL MACHINE). That JVM also provide our services like CLR to java code and create BYTE CODE, That BYTE CODE is PLATFORM INDEPENDENT. And Also JAVA called as MANAGED CODE LANGUAGE. 

C AND CPP IS PLATFORM DEPENDENT-

In last see, Why C/CPP called PLATFORM DEPENDENT

C and CPP both languages run with any special operator like CLR or JVM, they have directly run on OS, Their compile run with the use of local OS help, So that languages not create any code for another OS execution, So if you write any code on windows os then that code always run on same os, Not run on any other os, because C and CPP execute our code with the help of local OS, Because of that C and CPP called as UNMANAGED CODE LANGUAGE.

That all reason ASP and JAVA called as PLATFORM INDEPENDENT LANGUAGE as compare C and CPP.

In computer IT sector C, CPP, ASP, JAVA those languages are most popular languages ever, Now a days C and CPP are also used in various application creation and game creation. We also know that ASP is the biggest platform used for WEBSITE creation also JAVA (JSP) used in gaming platform and WEBSITE creation. But small things each language totally different from each other, Platform dependent and independent separate the way of code in those programming languages,So now see what is language platform dependent and platform independent.

LANGUAGE PLATFORM DEPENDENT-

If any language code written on 1 operating system and run it on that same OS, After that same code copy and execute on another Operating System, If that copied code not execute on another OS then that language code is called as PLATFORM DEPENDENT code.

e.g.-If you write code on windows OS and after that code run on another OS like Linux, Then that code not compatible and execute on that OS, Then that code is called as platform dependent.

That code also not execute on any other operating system Like mac OS, Unix, Solaris, etc.

If any language code called as PLATFORM DEPENDENT code, then that code also called as UNMANAGED CODE. 

C and CPP that basic languages are PLATFORM DEPENDENT languages.
